Last week was one of the busiest in my life! I got so productive (as you could see on my Instagram @magsevcikgallery as well). I was basically painting every day and there is a definitive switch in colours - from pink to grey and (dark) blue... let's look at my newbies and the whole creative process. The week started with "Spread Sorrow" (100x70cm): And continued with few smaller pieces... like "Memory" (d:50cm) And "Let it slide" (d:30cm) I also made this lovely fella in the middle... And now im working on another smaller piece. Stay tuned for tommorow - it is going to be a blast!
Take care Mag xxx

Life is strange. On one day you feel full of energy, on the other you're sick. And I've been sick for a while. I got back to my normal studio mode only few days ago/during the weekend. SO! Sorry for not posting, I hope you are still excited to see more art :) My newest pieces are dark... or as my boyfriend says: "ominous" And it is not surprising...in my work, I am completely honest. My painting always reflects the inside of me and my inside was aching. But there is always a little glimpse of hope! Check it: Up/Down (200x140cm) acrylics, canvas, 2017 "Time won't save our souls" (50x50cm) acrylics, canvas, 2017 "Time won't save my soul" (50x50cm) acrylics, canvas, 2017
I am working on some stuff especially for Artuare Gallery. Paintings that you'll see this week will be available for purchase online. Soon... For now you can take a look at them & my studio.
Hello guys, it's been a while. Sorry for not posting - My 100 Days of Art odyssey continues.
I've been working on some big stuff. Expect canvases 140x100cm...Check my artistic process here: I was in a weird mood today. Sudden change of weather made me all nostalgic and sad. This dejection is not great for social life, however it is great for painting. I sat behind my table for hours, working on a new piece you see below and listening to Kings of Convenience, Sufjan Stevens, Metronomy and Cigarettes After Sex. Painting went slowly. I wasn't happy with what I saw/was changing it few times. But in the end I am excited to present this little painting to you... (in the middle of the process) done: This is what it is (50x20cm) acrylics, canvas And that's it for today. Enjoy your Friday night
Take care Mag Last two days were awesome. Finally I had my solo exhibition in a gallery (as my boyfriend states: "It is so wonderful to see your stuff, only your stuff on walls!" It was a lot of work for my 'crew". I was travelling and enjoying vacation (sorry for not posting more)
Hours before opening were filled with pleasant walk around Bratislava, great food, good beer and hours after as well. But from now on, I'm gonna go back to normal and start working in my studio again. So look forward to see new stuff! Have a great day! Mag Hello there, how are you these days? I am enjoying a little break before the exhibition and working just on smaller pieces + soaking some inspiration on (architectural) walks in Brno. Enjoy these new little buddies - here's one in progress: And two finished ones: Have a great day tommorow !
Mag xxx Today was about travelling with my mom. Brno - Bratislava and back was our goal. After we arrived to Slovakia's capital city, we stopped by in DOT CONTEMPORARY Gallery for a coffee... but mainly I wanted to check my painting that were hanging there for few days now. They look amazing. Check it: After this I dropped my other paintings to MiniArt Gallery. Opening on Wednesday (5. 4., 6pm) You're welcome to come!
Sun was shining again and I was enjoying it occasionally on the balcony where I was spraying my paintings. The weather is so nice and warm, makes me wanna paint. My head is full of ideas. Four paintings were finished today, although only small, I think they are quite powerful... just see them for yourselves.
I was also packing things for my exhibition in Bratislava. It was fun. I was little bit tipsy and playing with the bubble foil. Hope you're having a great Friday as well! xxx Mag There are quotes that inspire me. I would like to share them with you... sometimes, not every day :)
